I'm not the biggest fan of physics. I thought it was going to be really boring, but Lynsey came and was so enthusiastic about everything. I have better test and quiz scores, extra points on my homework assignments, and better grades and comments on my report card. I started to understand formulas, definitions, and statements. I actually can go around the classroom and help other students! I would absolutely recommend Lynsey. She’s super creative and enthusiastic. Not only has she helped me in physics, but algebra too! She makes physics and math fun and easier to learn! Impossible you may say? Not for Lynsey!

My main concern about
selecting a tutor was if their skill set matches my needs.
I was looking for someone who I could also connect with because in order
to get the best results, both parties have to work well together. Lynsey
surpassed my expectations as a tutor. She was the perfect balance of
personal and professionalism during our sessions. Not only did she
reconfirm my own abilities, she
was very encouraging. I would definitely recommend her. Although I was
not in the ideal financial state to afford her services, she was able to
accommodate. That is not something you come across often.

My main concern was getting someone who knew the subject and could really teach and communicate it to my daughter with energy and a touch of fun. She has fun when Lynsey arrives and her grades have gone up. I like the fact that Lynsey uses great real world analogies for examples. She has a great knowledge of physics, is on-call for homework and assignments, and cares about the person and subject. Lynsey comes prepared to work, no wasted time with idle chatting about 1-Direction. She has a plan to improve students’ grades and confidence. Lynsey gives her so much confidence and knowledge to tackle this hard subject matter, each week. She also makes a great dinner guest and can catch a softball!!!!

I needed a tutor who could figure out how my son learns; why he was not learning from his high school teachers; and then effectively teach him the algebra and geometry skills that he was not grasping well enough to get passing grades in school. After meeting with Lynsey, my son’s grades improved markedly. Perhaps more importantly, he began to have a better self-image, since she helped him to realize that he CAN learn! My son likes her, looks up to her, and she makes him realize he CAN learn if taught in a way that accommodates the way that he learns.
